Bradford Council's staff newsletter
I am employed part-time by Bradford Council to write its award-winning staff newsletter, Pride@Work, which goes to 10,000 staff who are employed by the authority.

Awards
Pride@Work won The 2005 Charity and Public Services Publishing Awards Newsletter of the Year jointly with the Council's residents' newsletter and was a finalist in The Yorkshire and Lincolnshire CIPR New Pride Awards 2007 in the Best Newspaper or Magazine category.

Plain English
Since autumn 2006 the newsletter has carried the 'Approved by Plain English Campaign' crystal mark, indicating that it fulfils high standards for clear layout and design, and language appropriate for the intended audience.
